Hello people!,

So it was the hottest day of the year I was in all white everything was great.....except my bland non glowing face. Normally as soon as the smallest amount of sun comes out, I'm hunting for the perfect highlighter to make me look like a shimmering goddess of iridescent light but not this year, I was too busy thinking about shoes for summer ( or trainers more like ).So I did my research on popular highlighters with good reviews, and landed on this from Laura Geller when I tested it in store at Debenhams.

When I first tried it at home I had difficulty getting a completely blended finish ( I think my brush isn't right) also I realised that I might of been happier with a liquid highlighter. But and its a big one after practicing blending techniques I've really enjoyed the effect it gives. Its perfect for a sheer finish that isn't too strong and can be easily build for a stronger glow. This is also perfect for oily skin and has amazing staying power.

Overall I would give this 7/10 I found it hard to blend which could be me not having enough make up application experience so maybe make up artist would have a better time. Also  I have been looking at Becca highlighters which appears to give a dewy finish which I think is the look I want to go for.

I've heard rave reviews on this product so I think I should of went for a liquid highlighter instead because the only thing I didn't like was the texture. What are your favourite highlighters?

Thanks for reading,

xoxo
